How to use XpressAmericas' Spam Server (the Barracuda)
Most Email is stopped automatically on our spam server. While no spam blocker is 100% effective some e-mails may be blocked while others may slip through. To help prevent emails your want, and stop others you don't want we give you the access to allow, and deny e-mails to your e-mail box. Alot of times you may want to block the whole IP, or the entire domain. This will prevent either the ability for the user to send from the same IP with a differnet email address (which we've all seen). Blocking the domain will prevent anyone in the same domain to send you an e-mail. Below are the steps to take to do this.
  1. First go to the Barracuda Login page to get to your personal spam server settings by clicking this link:
    http://barracuda.xpressamerica.net:8000/

  2. The screen below will appear.

  3. Here you must enter your Entire Email Address (See example below [rol@xpressamerica.net]).
If you enter just your username you will be denied access.

  4. When you login you'll see the screen below. Now Click "Preferences".

  5. Notice the two sets of lists. Whitelist is for the good guys that you want e-mail from. Even if it would be normally flagged as spam, it will be delivered to your e-mail box. The list below that is the Blacklist. See in the illustration how this user is blocking an entire, domain, an IP, or just one e-mail address. Just type it in, then click "Add". You will notice your new entry in the list. Add more if you want, or simply log out. Thats it. Your done. E-mail will be more enjoyable.
